  Detail: Basic petrol station about 1Km north of Bulahdelah, visible on left, northbound side of highway in bush in the "middle of nowhere", opened early 2017 and was ridiculously cheap, prices a little higher now. Price still probably lowest for E10 (no 91 unleaded) between Sydney and Gold Coast; competition may have forced the Bulahdelah Coles Express and BP to lower their prices. (Price seems set at just below discounted Coles Express IF you have a Coles discount coupon.)

  Toilet (haven't tried it) and shower, and very small shop with ATM and auto self-serve coffee at ridiculous price of $3 and $4 a cup (not going to try it at that price).

  Safety note: If approaching from the north, southbound, it IS accessible but you have to spot where it is in advance - not easy at night with few landmarks - slow down, indicate well in advance, and execute a right turn across oncoming traffic at the bottom of a long downhill run in a 110 Km/hr zone two lanes wide. Be careful - this can be dangerous, especially with all the trucks !

  Pumps always available & prices approximately 20 cents per litre cheaper than other fuel stations in the area.

  You also have to be careful when exiting the station onto the highway in either direction - thundering trucks again.
